Paulette has been a valuable member of the CJBS team since joining the firm in 2011. She currently serves as a manager, working in both the Tax Accounting and Forensic Accounting departments. Her primary responsibility is fulfilling tax work for small businesses in a variety of areas; currently, her clients include doctors, lawyers, consultants, real estate professionals, and manufacturers. Paulette is considered the go-to person in the office for questions about trusts, and she also has some specialization in foreign taxes and forensic accounting in non-tax related work. Her previous experience includes over 10 years with BIK/BKL, a CPA firm, two years doing financial reporting for Staley Continental, and three years as an auditor with Ernst & Young.

An ethical and friendly professional, Paulette works to help her small-business clients understand the importance of preparing good accounting records as it lessens the time spent making adjustments, resulting in a smaller final bill. She always enjoyed working with numbers and chose to pursue a career in accounting. Her strength of concentration and personal desire to always be learning contributed to her success in the field.

Raised in Wilmette, Illinois, Paulette currently resides in Lake Zurich with her husband, Craig, and their senior dog, Skitch. Together Paulette and Craig have four grown children. In her free time, Paulette enjoys reading, playing piano, golfing, solving crossword puzzles, and gardening.
