CJBS Announces New Staff Accountants

The certified public accounting and consulting firm of CJBS is pleased to announce the addition of Yu-Ching Chen and Wenqian “Kate” Kang to their professional team.

Chen and Kang both served as CJBS tax interns prior to being hired on to the team as staff accountants. In her new role, Chen performs tax work for corporations and trusts. Kang primarily serves clients in the real estate and restaurant industries, preparing their tax returns.

“Yu-Ching and Kate worked hard as tax interns and certainly proved their value to the firm,” said Jeff Stuart, managing member of CJBS. “We’re pleased to have them joining the team permanently and look forward to watching their careers develop with us.”

Chen currently attends DePaul University where she is a Dean’s Scholarship recipient; she expects to graduate in March 2019. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Originally from Taiwan, Chen immigrated to the US a few years ago and currently resides in Skokie, Illinois.

A 2018 graduate of DePaul University, Kang holds a Master of Science in Accountancy. Prior to joining the CJBS team she spent one year as an accounting clerk with C. H. Robinson. Raised in China, Kang currently resides in Chicago, Illinois.
