Susan Gu

History of Expertise
Before joining CJBS in October 2006, Susan had five years experience working in China and Australia in business and accounting. She was a business representative for three years in a Fortune 100 company’s China office. After finishing her graduate study in Sydney, she started her accounting professional career with a local accounting firm as a staff accountant, where she gained experience in both corporate and individual accounting and taxation. As a staff accountant at CJBS, Susan’s responsibilities include compilation work, payroll taxes, and corporate and individual income tax preparation.

Educational Background
Susan graduated from Guangdong University of Foreign Study (Guangzhou, China) in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business. Five years later, she received her Master of Arts degree in Professional Accounting from the University of Western Sydney, Australia. While in Sydney, she finished her CPA Australia study and passed all relevant exams in 2006. She plans to gain her American CPA in the near future.

Susan is a member of CPA Australia.

Personal Interests
One of Susan’s dreams is to travel around the world and experience various cultures. She also likes reading and playing Zheng (an ancient Chinese string instrument).
