Kara Venegas

History of Expertise
Prior to joining CJBS as an administrative assistant in 2005, Kara was employed in the healthcare field, so working at an accounting firm was a new experience for her. In addition to the firm’s daily administrative tasks, some of her job duties include assembling tax returns, scanning the firm’s backup documentation, and doing bookkeeping work for clients. Since working at CJBS, Kara has found that she has an interest in accounting and has decided to pursue a career in this field.

Educational Background
Kara graduated from Trinity International University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Pre-Physical Therapy. She is currently is taking the necessary accounting and business classes at College of DuPage in order to take the CPA Exam and pursue a career in accounting.

Personal Interests
Kara was recently married in the summer of 2005 and is still enjoying the newlywed stage of marriage. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, reading, going to the movies, traveling with her husband and spending time with friends and family.
