History of Expertise
John joined CJBS in 2004 with more than thirty years of prior experience, primarily in public accounting, including six years with KPMG in Peoria and Chicago. John has expertise in a number of fields and now does accounting and auditing, working with commercial, not for profit and employee benefit clients.

Educational Background
John is a graduate of Bradley University with a major in accounting.

Professional Affiliations
John is a member of AICPA and ILCPAS, and a former member of the following ICPAS committees: Savings and Loan Associations, Credit Unions, State and Local Taxation, and Employee Benefit Plans.

Personal Interests
A former president of the Bradley national alumni association, John remains an active Bradley alum, as well as staying involved with the Sigma Chi Fraternity Chicago alumni group. He is also Director emeritus and a former president of the Norwood Crossings retirement home. John is active in sports and has completed eight marathons.

John and his wife Lynn reside in Arlington Heights. He has three children, two stepdaughters and six grandchildren.
