Ed Fraser, CPA

History of Expertise
As a Senior Manager on our team of professionals, Ed’s supportive approach, understanding of issues and his company involvement are not only appreciated by everyone at the firm, but by our clients as well. Ed has more than twenty-three years of experience in public accounting. Prior to joining CJBS in 1996, he was a partner with a local area firm and then later served as a sole practitioner. One of his main areas of emphasis is tax planning for entrepreneurs and small businesses, in addition to being involved in tax, auditing and other accounting and financial planning activities. Furthermore, Ed is in charge of the firm’s Continuing Professional Education Program, enabling all of our partners and staff to keep current on the latest tax rules and accounting regulations.

Educational Background
Ed graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Professional Affiliations
Ed’s professional affiliations include being a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.

Personal Interests
In addition to bicycling and swimming, Ed also enjoys partaking in equestrian speculation upon occasion.
