Daniel A. Nye, CPA

History of Expertise
Daniel joined CJBS in late 2007. A seasoned CPA and tax professional, Dan’s areas of expertise include compliance, preparation of financial statements and employee retirement planning. At the beginning of his professional career, Daniel worked with his father, Marty (now a member of the CJBS Questus team), at Nye and Nye where he honed many of his skills. Prior to that, Dan spent the next six years working for a professional services firm performing various engagements in accounting, tax and internal auditing for the Fortune 100 companies. His strengths include training and leadership with a demonstrated commitment to client service.

Educational Background
Daniel received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University in 1989. Additionally, complementing his accounting background, he has acted in the capacity of a registered securities representative and a real estate broker holding a Series 7 license, Illinois Insurance Producer license and an Illinois Real Estate Brokers license.

Personal Interests
Daniel lives in Deerfield with his wife and two sons. If he is not spending time with his family, you will find him either running or working on some type of home improvement project. Dan has run in the 2006 and 2007 Chicago Marathons
