Barbara Fredricksen

History of Expertise
Prior to joining CJBS in 2004, Barb had 28 years of accounting experience in both the private and public sector. She started her career as an accounts payable clerk for a major healthcare company, and advanced to the position of assistant to the controller. She has handled payroll taxes for 35 different states, and set up a spreadsheet for a pension plan with 1200 participants. Barb is our resident QuickBooks advisor. She also has experience in write-up, compilations, sales taxes, and income tax preparation.

Educational Background
Barb graduated from Moser Business School with an accounting certificate in 1976. She keeps updated through continuing education seminars.

Personal Interests
An avid reader, Barb always has a book with her. She also enjoys puzzles, board games, and computer games. Barb is married, and has three children.

Barb thinks that, “numbers are a puzzle, and they have a story to tell, but the story is only true if the numbers are accurate.”
