History of Expertise
Ted Joseph has been with CJBS since 1971 and became a partner with the firm in 1976. He has a broad range of experience in the fields of publishing, real estate, income tax and trade association matters. Ted regularly consults and represents clients desiring to sell or acquire businesses and furnishes them with detailed information such as establishing values for buy-sell agreements. In addition, Ted represents numerous clients with matters concerning the Internal Revenue Service and the Illinois Department of Revenue.

Educational Background
Ted received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy from Walton University in 1969.

Professional Affiliations
Ted is an active Rotarian and has held positions in the Deerfield Chapter, as well as the District 6440 chapter. He holds a professional membership in the Newspapers’ Executive of America. Actively involved in local issues, Ted serves on the Board of Directors for both the United Way of Deerfield and his Temple. In addition, he is listed in the National Directory of Who’s Who of Real Estate.

Personal Interests
Ted enjoys traveling and doting on his grandchildren. When away from the office, you may find Ted in Door County, where he tends his garden, relaxes, and smokes the occasional cigar.
