Val Omeltchenko

History of Expertise
Val has been with CJBS since 2002, when Nye & Nye merged with CJBS. Prior to the merger, Val worked for Nye & Nye for two and a half years in Northbrook. Prior to that, he worked at The State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine where he was responsible for the financial accounting and reporting of the export development project that was financed under the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank) loan agreement. Val is involved with client accounting and tax work.

Educational Background
Val received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from The Kiev Institute of National Economy in 1985. He completed the necessary classes in accounting and business law at Oakton Community College and received a CPA preparation certificate in 2003.

Personal Interests
Val enjoys reading and likes to travel, especially to see his relatives who live out of the country. He is also a big fan of European soccer.
