Barry I. Melnick

History of Expertise
Prior to joining CJBS, Barry was a partner with the firm of Melnick Rosenfeldt and Associates, Ltd., which merged with CJBS in 2000. Barry has been in the accounting profession over forty years either as a controller for a privately held company or as an accountant for an accounting firm. Barry is involved in accounting and tax preparation for small companies. In addition, he also provides other services for individual clients, which include tax preparation.

Educational Background
Barry received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Roosevelt University in 1964. He is an Enrolled Agent to practice before the Internal Revenue Service since 1990.

Professional Affiliations
Barry is a member of the Illinois Association of Enrolled Agents, National Association of Enrolled Agents and Independent Accountants Association of Illinois.

Personal Interests
Barry enjoys playing golf and watching various sporting events. Barry is married and has four children and five grandchildren.
