Ronald W. Bloom, BBA, ATA, EA

History of Expertise
Ron joined his father in Louis A. Bloom & Associates in 1955, specializing in small business accounting. In 2006, the firm then called Bloom, Bloom and Magad, Ltd., merged with CJBS and Ron became part of the Questus family. Over the years, Ron has worked with many small businesses that have grown into multi level million dollar operations. He has become an expert in restaurant financial consulting and tax planning and has extensive experience with individual income tax preparation and tax representation.

Educational Background

Ron received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northwestern University. He has taken many graduate level accounting, tax, and economic classes and annually participates in several tax seminars. He has been an Enrolled Agent since 1967.

Professional Affiliations

Ron is a past president of the Evanston B’nai B’rith and a past officer of the Evanston Jaycees. He is a member of the Independent Accountants Association of Illinois and the National Society of Public Accountants.

Personal Interests


Ron lives in Lincolnshire with his wife. They have four married children and ten grandchildren. He loves sports, reads extensively, works out at the gym and has developed a love for traveling the world.
